Oh, man, this is a real person, apparently. I have found this year’s summer hit.
The next time someone bothers me to do something I find offensive, this will be my stock answer: “Hell naw, to the naw naw naw!”

I have to admit that, as someone who grew up in the 1980s and 1990s, and who enjoyed hip-hop when it came out, today’s batch is not my cup of tea, to put it as politely as possible.
This record, by the French group Gasoline, is a massive exception. They have something which reminds me of the good old days.
I’m no connoisseur of hip-hop music, but Jurassic 5, Los Angeles’ finest in my opinion, makes me want to learn more about the interesting parts of the genre.
I’m sure you weren’t expecting to hear rap from Azerbaijan here. Fortunately, I take plunges where most won’t go.
Xpert is the local Eminem clone, and his flow isn’t bad at all. Add traditional Azeri music in the mix, and this turns out to be quite good listening.
I take a tremendous amount of pride bringing interesting (dare I say, tasteful?) things to my friends and subscribers. This is one of the most unique offerings I’ve been fortunate enough to come across in quite a while. Mongolia offers many great styles of ethnic music, but I never thought I’d see Khöömei (throat-singing) paired with rap. I’m not much of a fan of modern hip-hop at all, but this really has me fascinated.
Points for anyone who can find the name of the band and the actual name of the song. I’d love to hear more from these guys.
UPDATE: The band is called Zagasan Shireet Tamga. The song, apparently is ‘Eki Attar’ (Good Horses).
