Great! I love Borges, I love this list, and the fact that only Italian author is Dino Buzzati, whose talent is today nearly forgotten here, even if to many and me is number one indeed!

I will have to read Buzzati. I wonder if his work has ever been translated to English?

I think it was. It’s still one the best writer of the last century we had. However, from 20 or 30 years his books disappeared also here. I have no explanation because his language and his stories are so good!!
