One track of pure Afrobeat power from Nigeria’s Oghene Kologbo! Thanks to Paris DJs, who released this bumping track.

[Music] Meet Sufyvn, The Best Dentist-Producer In Sudan
While it can be a bit embarrassing to watch Bandcamp get its liberal knickers twisted up, Sufyn handles the interview with aplomb. He’s perhaps East Africa’s best hip-hop producer, influenced by what he describes as L.A. beats. Though I’m not a big fan of hip-hop, this talented dentist is doing something very fresh, and deserves every bit of success he’s been gaining.
[Music] Roberto Romero Molina – Escandinavia por Ala Delta
This must be a great week for Bandcamp. This release features a young Mexican composer called Roberto Romero Molina, whose work falls somewhere between electroacoustic music and something reminiscent of a sci-fi movie. A short, but brilliant, release.
[Music] 36 – Hollow
36 (pronounced three-six) are an ambient drone band based out of the United Kingdom. Heavy duty music for headphones, not quite Eno-esque, but it resides more along the post-rock side of the spectrum.
[Music] The Active Listener’s Compilations Showcase Psych From Around the World — Bandcamp Daily
Though the New Zealand blog documenting psych-pop may be slowing down, its discoveries are preserved in a series of essential collections.

[Music] Akute – Płastyka
Though it’s listed as post-rock on their Bandcamp page, Akute would probably fit rather well in the indie and shoegazer music genres as well.
[Music] dagshenma – Y
THIS is good techno – something wild and experimental, not cheap ‘ploink ploink’ rubbish. Thanks to Praveer Bea for posting this on his Facebook page.
For more on dagshenma, do to their Bandcamp page or Tumblr site.
[Music] Wang Wen – Sky of Dalian
Wang Wen are China’s top post-rock band.
[Music] Bango – Hell the World (Inferno No Mundo)
This came as a nice surprise while checking out some fuzz-laden garage tracks on Reddit today. As it turns out, Bango also have this available via Bandcamp.
[Music] Tablet Sleep – Inversion
As if I don’t have a number of interesting reasons to visit Russia. The Day Of Life Forgotten is an independent net label operating, it seems, out of Moscow (though if it’s not the case, I’ll update the post). This release, by my friend Alexei Serebreikov under his monicker Скрижали сна, is a great balance of electronic music, mixing elements of psychedelic music and drum & bass, a touch of IDM, all the while keeping everything sounding balanced and rhythmic. Something worth pursuing.
