Though she wasn’t quite as famous as David Bowie, Lemmy or Glenn Frey, Else Marie Pade’s loss does damage to the electroacoustic community, as she had collaborated with some of the field’s giants. RIP.

[Music] The Supergroovers – Have Yourself A Merry Avant Garde Christmas Medley
Did you expect that I’d pass up an opportunity to mix my two favorite things? Thanks to the Super Groovers for this relaxed cut. A Merry Christmas and much noise to all!
[Music] Rational Diet – Pukhow
It’s a crying shame that Belarusian Rock-In-Opposition-influenced band Rational Diet is no more. For my taste, they had carried the torch first illumined by bands such as Art Zoyd, Univers Zero and Henry Cow.
[Music] Horaţiu Rădulescu – The Quest
Horaţiu Rădulescu was a composer from Romania who gained fame by operating in the genre of spectral music. He died in France in 2008.
[Music] Werkbund – Haithabu
Many thanks to my good friend Miodrag Cheza Stojanovic, who posts some of the most amazing experimental videos. Werkbund (alias of Uli Rehberg) were a German experimental/post-Industrial project who made some stunning cassettes and CDs in the 90s.
[Music] Jos Smolders – Passion (For Rudy Carrera)
Yes, you’re reading this right. This one is dedicated to yours truly.
Jos Smolders, the legendary Dutch experimental composer and sonic alchemist, worked on this project in Easter, 2014. To say I’m both thankful and honored for the dedication is a massive understatement. It is perfect evening listening, even after more than a year of its release here on Soundcloud.
[Art] Vakhtang Kakulia – Smoker Woman

Modern surrealism by Vakhtang Kakulia, a young Georgian painter. For more on this particular painting, look here.
All credit and thanks go to my old friend Artemiy Artemiev, who posts wonderful examples of art daily on his Facebook page.
[Music] Ryoji Ikeda – Back in Black
Experimental musicians are a funny lot. They put out strange, sometimes stiff, clinical sound experiments. And then Ryoji Ikeda decides to have a laugh and make a static and blip cover of AC/DC‘s seminal classic. Genius.
And thanks to the ever darling Christine Tesla Coil who originally posted this.
[Music] Z’ev – Wipe Out (1982)
Z’ev was one of the kings of the early post-Industrial/experimental music scene. Starting off as a normal drummer in the 1960s, he began experimenting with all sorts of found objects, studying their percussive qualities. In a rather bizarre experiment, here he is covering Wipeout by The Surfaris.
