There seems to be absolutely no information on this band except for an entry at their label, Branco Records, out of Japan. This was originally a private pressing, and it reminds me of some soft, hazy, prog-psych, with touches of bands like The Flower Travellin’ Band.

It’s hard for me to believe that it’s been 30 years since I first heard Current 93. David Tibet’s voice still sounds as spry and mystical as ever.

Shimmery and lo-fi are words that normally shouldn’t go well together. In the hands of New Zealand guitarist Roy Montgomery and members of the Philadelphia-based Bardo Pond, the description fits perfectly.
