[Music] OORSPRONG curators series/OCS edition September 19 2016 — OORSPRONG curators series
[Music] Angel Olsen, Down to Earth — Bandcamp Daily
The rising star stays grounded with her strong working relationships and control over her own image, never sacrificing warmth or artistry.
[Music] 10 More Essential British 1970s folk-rock albums — Make Your Own Taste
This is a follow-up to the very popular post on 12 Essential British 1970s Folk-Rock albums. The genre was not as big and popular as it should be, so with a couple of these, I may be stretching the “essential” label. But if you are heavily into collecting this stuff, you are going to want […]

[Music] Thanatoloop -TorturadorTorturado
Thanatoloop is a side project from the Chilean experimental musician Michel Andre Leroy Valdes, famed for his work with his main band, Un Festin Sagital. This peace is a look to a surreal hazy scene which would go perfect with absinthe and reading Les Chants de Maldoror by Comte de Lautréamont.
[Music] Luvsanjambyn Murdorj – My Village, My Dear Land
Luvsanjambyn Murdorj was a Mongolian composer who had a dedicated following in his home country. He presents a lovely vocal piece on this video.
[Music] Hoarfrost – Refracted In Illusion

[Music] Lena Platonos – Shadow Of Blood
A hat tip to Cornelius Martins for turning me on to the music of Lena Platonos, a singer who should have received her fair due 30 years ago, but this is better late than never.
[Music] Michael C. Hall – Lazarus (CBS Performance)
Apparently Dexter can sing as well as butcher people. Michael C. Hall does a rather nice cover of one of David Bowie’s last singles.
[Music] Depeche Mode – But Not Tonight
Depeche Mode have many wonderful albums, but Black Celebration is, for my ears, their crowning jewel. This song was my favorite of the lot.
