John Zorn, Bill Laswell, Rob Burger and Kevin Norton perform a new soundtrack for a Polish production of Nosferatu. Heavy prog vibes here.

[Music] Robert Görl – Love In Mind
Sunday’s listening was good enough with Robert Görl of DAF, but add to this a gorgeous, floating, dancing Anna Karina, and you have the visual stimulation for a delightful evening’s viewing, too.
[Music] Abul Mogard – Staring At The Sweeps Of The Desert
Abul Mogard is a Serbian composer and former steel mill worker whose work I came across three or so years ago. Understated but powerful stuff.
[Music] Benjamin Clementine live at the Burberry Menswear January 2016 show
I have about zero interest in Burberry Menswear. It’s not my thing, though I can see where it would appeal to those who get a kick out of clothing. This video was supposed to highlight Burberry’s line of clothing, but that gets smashed immediately by the arresting voice of Benjamin Clementine, a man who, shockingly, spent part of his teenage years living as a homeless person. He’s really got quite a future ahead of him.
[Music] Elias Rahbani – Mosaic of the Orient
Elias Rahbani was the youngest of the legendary Rahbani Brothers, but was equally as talented as Assi and Mansour were.
[Music] Thanatoloop -TorturadorTorturado
Thanatoloop is a side project from the Chilean experimental musician Michel Andre Leroy Valdes, famed for his work with his main band, Un Festin Sagital. This peace is a look to a surreal hazy scene which would go perfect with absinthe and reading Les Chants de Maldoror by Comte de Lautréamont.
[Music] Luvsanjambyn Murdorj – My Village, My Dear Land
Luvsanjambyn Murdorj was a Mongolian composer who had a dedicated following in his home country. He presents a lovely vocal piece on this video.
[Music] Hoarfrost – Refracted In Illusion
Many thanks to Rafał Kopeć who advised me of this video. Hoarfrost’s newest release on Reverse Alignment, Anima Mundi, came out on my birthday (August 17), and I’m looking forward to picking it up. This is their official video, and the images go well with these bleakest of sounds.
[Music] Lena Platonos – Shadow Of Blood
A hat tip to Cornelius Martins for turning me on to the music of Lena Platonos, a singer who should have received her fair due 30 years ago, but this is better late than never.
[Music] Michael C. Hall – Lazarus (CBS Performance)
Apparently Dexter can sing as well as butcher people. Michael C. Hall does a rather nice cover of one of David Bowie’s last singles.
