There isn’t a setting where Keith Jarrett is bad in. He is particularly powerful, however, when paired with Jack DeJohnette and Gary Peacock on drums and double bass.

[Music] Dario Elia feat. Happy 55 – Petržalka
I’m proud to share a performance by my friend in Italy (and a guest in the Balkans and Russia), Dario Elia! Here he is working with local Russian musicians Alessandro Pintus (live electronics), Yaroslav Borisov (piano, keyboards), Aleksandr Bitiutskikh (drums), Gennady Chukhlov (clarinet) and Nikita Bondarenko (live electronics).
[Music] David Fiuczynski (Screaming Headless Torsos) & Roy Hargrove – Smile In A Wave LIVE
I can’t tell you what the name of the song is, but David Fiuczynski and band, with much help from the legendary Roy Hargrove, tear the roof off with this jam.
[Music] Coil – Careful What you Wish For
Coil rose from the ashes of Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV. Though core members Peter Christopherson and John Balance have left this world, they left an incredible body of work to enjoy, and they will influence a new generation of post-Industrial Music artists.
A special thanks to my friend Christine Tesla Coil for posting this.
[Music] Ólafur Arnalds feat. Arnór Dan – For Now I Am Winter
Arnór Dan, singer of Agent Fresco, is a new name for me, but Ólafur Arnalds has a long and sumptuous track record of producing gorgeous music.
[Music] Alexei Aigui – Octo
Ensemble 4’33” leader and violinist Alexei Aigui collaborates with the Ad Libitum Orchestra on a new piece, performed at the Moscow Conservatory earlier this year.
[Music] Daniel Denis – Coeur De Boeuf
Daniel Denis of Univers Zero and Art Zoyd has quite an impressive resume as a solo artist. Here is a composition of his which translates into “Beef Heart” (one can guess who he is offering tribute to).
[Music] Yat-Kha – Karangailyg Kara Hovaa (Dyngyldai)
[Music] Vladimír Hirsch – Eísodos
Post-Industrial experimental music from the Czech Republic, but not the same old thing. Vladimír Hirsch has the sensibility of a film soundtrack composer, separating him from the kids who turn on a vacuum, record it, and call garbage like that ‘art’.
[Music] Rational Diet – Pukhow
It’s a crying shame that Belarusian Rock-In-Opposition-influenced band Rational Diet is no more. For my taste, they had carried the torch first illumined by bands such as Art Zoyd, Univers Zero and Henry Cow.
