Graeme Revell was the founder of Industrial music’s most brutal group, SPK. He went from using pieces of metal and grinders to making dark movie soundtracks, and has made a great name for himself in Hollywood.

Otomo Yoshihide’s entire performance at the gallery Transformer Station, in the Hingetown / Ohio City district of Cleveland, Ohio. The concert took place on 5/09/16. It was part of the concert series CMA At The Transformer Station.
Otomo’s set that evening composed of Ornette Coleman’s “Lonely Woman,” his own composition “The Blue Kite” (I believe) and Charlie Haden’s “Song For Che,” in that order.

I grew up around a piano. I dated an Italian pianist (ugh). My priests all played piano. I damn near lost interest in the instrument until I stumbled onto the work of Lubomyr Melnyk a few years ago. The piano has been beautifully redeemed thanks to the sheer beauty, intricacy and power of his work.

The Orchestra Of Mirrored Reflections are a project out of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, who are led by guitarist Jol Tai. They make a music reminiscent of musicians like Jon Hassell and bands like Tuxedomoon at their most experimental.
These folks are definitely going to be worth following.
