This would make the debates more interesting. Despite the cheap shot to one of the candidates (which is no surprise – I don’t expect a clean fight from anyone, but I also don’t expect sissified whining and bitching when it happens to their candidate), DJ Shadow makes a perfect video for the electoral season.

[Music] Jönsson Tõll & Mauno Koivisto – Mulla Ei Oo Aavistustakaan Mitä Tää Kaikki Paska Suomeksi Tarkoittaa
Two identities, one artist. Jönsson Tõll is a composer who is based out of Portugal. This release features some of his own work, plus more under his working monicker, Mauno Koivisto. Of of the most beautifully bleak techno albums I’ve heard in ages.
[Music] Woob – DEATH BY COIN-OP Undead Countdown — Season 9
Tonight at one minute to Midnight (BST) the Woob Album ‘DEATH BY COIN-OP’ will become the undead and will no longer available to buy with only its certificate remaining.
[Music] Björk – Pagan Poetry
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6fXpKYgrLU
Björk seemed to be peaking when she recorded this track for her 2011 album, Vespertine. If you’ve ever had the chance to hear this in 5.1 Surround Sound, it’s a delight to the ears.
[Music] Fake Plastic Heads – Je Ne Sais Quoi
Fake Plastic Heads hail from Munich, Germany, but their sound brings together a disparate blend of styles. There’s little else out there which blends electronic music genres so well.
[Music] Wagon Christ – Chicken For Kitty
Precisely what the doctor ordered for such a dark, gloomy day outside. Luke Vibert (Mr. Wagon Christ himself) offers up some dark, jazzy down-tempo music to enjoy.
[Music] Flint Glass – Teotihuacan
Flint Glass are a Parisian band specializing in innovative electronic music. Too bad they don’t have more samples available, as this one is quite impressive.
[Music] Samuli Kemppi – RYC Podcast 127 (19.06.2015)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zm5__j1jSHo
A novel idea! I never thought to look for podcasts via Youtube, but it makes perfect sense.
Samuli Kemppi is a Finnish techno artists unafraid to experiment with electronic music under his own name rather than under a heap of aliases. He’s also a DJ for Basso Radio, and this podcast gives a good demonstration of the sort of electronica he spins on air.
[Music] Ólafur Arnalds & Nils Frahm – Four
Many thanks to Post Global Recordings producer Toni Dimitrov, an old friend and incredible musician in his own right, for today’s post. This collaboration between Ólafur Arnalds & Nils Frahm is as peaceful and engaging a piece I’ve heard in some time.
[Music] Andrea Parker – Nobody’s Perfect Vol. 3
Andrea Parker produces something I hate calling trip-hop, as it seems so limiting. She’s on another plane in the world of electronica.
