Did you expect that I’d pass up an opportunity to mix my two favorite things? Thanks to the Super Groovers for this relaxed cut. A Merry Christmas and much noise to all!

[Film] A Christmas Carol (1984)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvdMjXhPGd0
Featuring the talents of actor George C. Scott, this is by far my favorite secular Christmas film.
[Music] Harry Simeone Chorale – The Little Drummer Boy
I grew up with this song by the Harry Simeone Chorale playing in my home for Christmas. ‘The Little Drummer Boy’ is my favorite secular Christmas song.
[Music] Bel Canto Choir Vilnius – Shchedryk [Щедрик] (Carol of the Bells)
What a wonderful chorus! The Bel Canto Choir of Vilnius, Lithuania, do a standout performance of the Christmas classic written by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych.
[Music] Ivan Kozlovskiy – Ukrainian Christmas Carols (rec.1947)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyETGQDKP7c
We drift gently into the Nativity with a few Ukrainian Christmas Carols performed by tenor Ivan Kozlovskiy and orchestra.
[Music] Veils – Soulmates
I have little idea about what Witch house music is. Apparently, Veils performs it. It sounds like an ambient track with little bombs going off far away. Not bad at all.
[Music] The Diplomatic Core – Monsieur Claude 2012-2015
My friend Christopher (a.k.a. The Diplomatic Core) is a tunesmith par excellence. He’s constantly reworking material, forging some very groovy beats in the process. Follow his work on Soundcloud here.
[Music] Leszek Możdżer – Sleep Safe And Warm
A rather chilling interpretation by Leszek Możdżer of the Krzysztof Komeda classic performed for Roman Polański’s film, Rosemary’s Baby.
[Music] Luisa Ereno – Oblivion
I’ve heard some incredible versions of Astor Piazzolla’s ‘Oblivion’, some leaving a rather nasty bit of nostalgia with them. But of all the versions I’ve checked out, I’ve not once heard lyrics with it. This version, sung by Luisa Ereno, turns out to be quite a treat.
[Music] Amon Düül II – Green Bubble Raincoated Man
Amon Düül II, the Krautrock legends, have begun making music and performing again recently. After nearly five decades, they’ve managed to make consistently interesting music. Here they are during their prime years.
