From Éthiopiques 21: Ethiopia Song, this is Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou, one truly bluesy nun of the the Ethiopian Orthodox persuasion.

[Video] Dielo – Dielo (1975) [Full Album]
This is an odd one, even by my standards. I never expected to come across Georgian pop-psych, but… I did. Here’s Dielo!
[Video] Public Image Ltd. – Banging The Door
Going through some old post-punk albums last night, Public Image Ltd‘s name came to mind. Thanks to Enzo Notorio’s good taste, he pointed me to the direction of The Flowers of Romance, which contained this gem.
[Video] Panasonic – Kaasu
Panasonic (now Pan Sonic, thanks to the multi-national company not being pleased with the Finnish duo pilfering their name) produced some gorgeous minimalism.
[Video] Мурад Кажлаев (Murad Kazhlaev) - Крутые Повороты (Sharp Turns)
Before Dagestan, in southern Russia, became a worthless subsidiary for radical Islamists, it was producing some rather amazing musicians and composers of note. Murad Kazhlaev (sometimes transliterated as Murad Kajlayev) hailed originally from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, from a Lak family. He moved on to Dagestan, and would work with the Melodiya Records Orchestra, churning out great jazz like this.
If anyone from Dagestan could give me information on more interesting artists, I’d be indebted.
[Video] Tõnu Naissoo Trio – Turning Point (Full Album)
Tõnu Naissoo is one of the best musicians in both Estonia and was among the leading lights the whole of the former Soviet Union’s exceptional jazz scene.
[Video] Robert Crumb & His Cheap Suit Serenaders – My Girl’s Pussy
Not only does Robert Crumb have, erm… exotic tastes in art (certainly in the subject matter he loves to doodle), he also collects some amusing novelty hits. This one’s a classic from the 1920s.
[Video] Ed Bisiar III – Summers Wind
There’s almost no information on Ed Bisiar III. This song comes from a private pressing. It’s extremely mellow, pleasant listening for a sunny Saturday morning.

Some classic Prog listening for the evening, courtesy of Garybaldi.
[Video] Věra Bílá & Kale – Pas O Panori
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qunwrrrELx4
A Czech gypsy and former prostitute, Věra Bílá is a Romany institution. This was the first song I ever heard from her, probably about 7-8 years ago, and you can hear elements of jazz and flamenco inside the tune.
