There are many who will say they died with dignity, but Edward Downes and his wife made the choice to kill themselves. Death is a part of life. Sadly, the culture has such a fear of suffering that the thought of actually suffering seems to be an unbearable thing to have to deal with. May Mr. and Mrs. Downes rest in peace.
