Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunited at a David Lynch Foundation event and performed a few Beatles hits.
Fans of Sheffield’s most important export outside of steel can rejoice, as the Industrial music legends make a splash of a return by collaborating with New Zealand-based project Kora. The feel, apparently, is of the older, more cut-up style of late 70s-early 80s Cabs material.

After a (too long) silence, Jesus Lizard, one of the staples of the Touch & Go Record label, have decided to reform and tour in 2009. Indie rock has done without them for way too long.
Even better news: the albums will be reissued by the label!

Dave Davies is nearing the end of his days. He may wish to consider lightening up a bit and doing the reunion of all reunions. The band is up for it, and a brand-new box set has just come out. There are thousands of Kinks fans hanging of Dave’s every word regarding this matter, as Ray and the rest of the band are already good to go.
