Cabaret Voltaire Plotting a Smashing Return!

Fans of Sheffield’s most important export outside of steel can rejoice, as the Industrial music legends make a splash of a return by collaborating with New Zealand-based project Kora. The feel, apparently, is of the older, more cut-up style of late 70s-early 80s Cabs material. Side-Line Magazine has the news here.

Rock band the Jesus Lizard reuniting after decade

After a (too long) silence, Jesus Lizard, one of the staples of the Touch & Go Record label, have decided to reform and tour in 2009. Indie rock has done without them for way too long. Even better news: the albums will be reissued by the label!
