Andrew McKenzie is one of the most fascinating composers operating today. He has been the core (and indeed, these days the only member) of the Hafler Trio, a project he has headed (along with former collaborator Chris Watson of Cabaret Voltaire) for over 30 years. Though in poor health these days, he continues to release seminal music, and his body of work manages to stay in print. His importance to the world of experimental music is immeasurable.
