A Miscellany of Tasteful Music is an encyclopedia and news wire dedicated to the music we love. You may notice that these pages aren’t really genre-specific unless indicated, and that’s done for a reason. Any true music lover will have a broad range of interests, and I consider myself in that category.

Expect to find genres like Industrial, experimental, improvisational, drum’n'bass and progressive rock sitting comfortably next to pop, jazz and old-fashioned country music. These are the genres that move us most, but we’re willing to list anything we like. Some of the picks you may find atrocious – no matter, as the site is a reflection on my taste. We don’t advertise here, though we’ll be happy to listen to samples of your music provided it’s somewhere in the ballpark of our interest.
